Crownmark Assured Pricing (CAP) reflects our belief that clarity around legal costs is fundamental to good decision-making. Clients should be able to understand not only the advice they are receiving but also the financial commitment involved from the outset.
CAP is our structured approach to agreed, fixed pricing for the majority of our work. Rather than billing by the hour, we take the time to understand the scope of a matter, the objectives involved, and the work required. We then agree on a clear fee structure before the matter begins, so clients know where they stand.
This approach removes uncertainty, avoids unexpected cost escalation, and allows clients to focus on the substance of their decisions rather than ongoing billing concerns.

Why CAP exists?

How CAP works
We begin by taking the time to understand your situation, objectives, and the issues involved. Once the scope of work is clear, we provide a written proposal setting out what we will do and the agreed fee for that work.
If the proposal is accepted, we proceed on the basis agreed. If circumstances change or the scope of work needs to be adjusted, this is discussed openly and a revised fee is agreed before additional work is undertaken.
This ensures there are no surprises and no ambiguity about what is being done or what it will cost.
